Why Should You Become a Homeowner???

Becoming a homeowner is a thought that every single person has had. Homeownership has been the foundation of generational wealth. Why wouldn't you want your kids kids to be financially secure? It is a big step. A big step that comes with so many benefits.

Here is why you should take that big step toward becoming a homeowner sooner rather than later.

The Same Payment for 30 years or less!

That's right! When you purchase a home, your mortgage payment stays the same no matter what happens in the world. Unlike rent, which can be increased at the end of your lease, a mortgage stays the same.

The best part is that the same payment gives you more net worth each month.

Building Equity

Equity represents the difference between how much you still owe on your mortgage and your home's market price. Your soon-to-be home is a bank accumulating money each month and year.

As you pay down your mortgage each month, you build more money. The longer you keep the home, the more equity is accumulated.

You build nothing when you rent. I don't know about you, but I don't like throwing my hard-earned money into a fire.

Tax Breaks!

The government is set up to favor homeowners! Why have so few people been taught that? You can write off the interest on the home you pay and all the taxes paid on the house up to a certain amount.

As a homeowner, you can lower your taxable income and possibly gain a more significant tax return.

Becoming  Secure and Free

Once you buy a home, you become unrestricted and secure. You can do whatever renovations you want to the inside and out. Unless you have an HOA that only pertains to the outside with approval.

You get a sense of community. You now have long-term neighbors and friends.

There are no uncertainties with homeownership. Unlike stocks, a home can be rented, sold, or lived in.

Bottom Line

There is never the perfect time to buy a home. The perfect time is when you are ready.  If you are looking to move again and don't know what to do, ask yourself this: Am I prepared to build my real wealth and secure my family's future?
